Rockfort Orion is a browser extension from Rockfort AI that helps your organization use AI chat tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar sites) more safely. It runs in your browser and works with the security rules your IT or security team has set up for your company.
- Checks what you’re about to send to an AI before it goes out, when your organization has enabled that protection.
- Looks for sensitive information in your message—things like personal or company-confidential data—based on your org’s policies.
- Acts according to your organization’s rules: for example, your org might warn you, mask or replace sensitive parts, block the message from being sent, or monitor according to their setup.
Orion does not replace your company’s security program by itself. It is one layer that works with Rockfort’s services your administrators configure.
¶ Privacy and your data — high level
- Orion is built for enterprise use: what is scanned and how it is handled is driven by your organization’s agreement with Rockfort and their settings.
- Your admins choose how data is processed (for example, sending text to Rockfort services for scanning). For details about data use, retention, and your rights, rely on your employer’s privacy notices and IT/security team.
